the one with music
for anyone who is mesmerized by the emo leanings of my chemical romance and their breakthrough single 'helena'.. there exists another romantic band by the name of 'matchbox romance' which churns out equally emotive material and less hyped up than their counterparts.. appearing around the same time as MCR.. in my opinion i think matchbox romance is a better listen throughout the album than MCR..
there is a stupid mosquito flying around my room with an unsatiable thirst for my blood.. it has bitten me at least 4 times.. doesnt it ever get full? when i get my hands on it i will smash it to bits and lick my blood up..
on the topic of music recommendations.. i havent done any in a long time.. here are some new material which ive chanced across i think might be worthy of a listen.. Bill Ricchini..Teitur..Matt Wertz..Tom Baxter.. all leaning toward the folky side of things..
If you are new to the world of folk.. please listen to Kathryn Williams.. or even Damien Rice for a more contemporary sound.. it will change your perspective of folk as gypsy/minstrel music... although if you like that kind of thing.. i have an artist called Alasdair Roberts who is heavily influenced by traditional british folk minstrel music.. makes you feel like youre in a castle..
Feel free to msn if you need the mp3s for sampling.. Enjoy
