the one with emo written all over it

different people need different things in life and the things they take out of relationships reflect those differences.. some are content with having one person satisfy a particular aspect of their life while others choose to have multi faceted relationships with the same person.. there is no wrong or right in any situation and the dimensions vary from person to person.

i have realised that there it is quite hard short to say impossible to be transparent with everyone.. to be yourself.. because what does it mean to 'be yourself'?.. there are many selves to us.. and we show a different facet of ourselves to different people due to differing circumstances or different group dynamics.. a particular person makes you feel this way.. you respond accordingly.. another person satisfies this need in your life.. you react accordingly.. it all depends on where you are in life and the environment these social interactions take place.. i used to be terribly bothered that i couldnt be the same person with everybody i knew but that was only because i satisfied different purposes to different people and the same falls vice versa too.. this is by no means my sole conjecture and has been discussed numerous times over countless suppers

im listening to emo now.. pure emo emo.. not songs that make you feel emotional.. it is easy to see why this is such a much ridiculed genre but at the end of the day music is much like the many friends you have.. different genres serve different purposes and as long as you dont get holed into a particular category of music.. and keep an open mind to variety.. it can only mean a rewarding relationship with whichever 'friend' you choose..

give music a chance
give emo a chance.. you might be surprised..

DISCLAIMER: i am not an emo boy(maybe closet).. i just listen to everything.. in no way does my musical diet consist of emo and only emo..
