kaleidescope on the rocks

one is hardpressed to admit the fallacy of judging something untried and unexperienced.. like looking through the bottom of a drinking glass the reality of things is always distorted into a whirl of chaos.. swirling in color mixed with a dash of emotion and circumstance

how true it is then.. that things look surprisingly illuminated outside the glass.. how brightly lit the fluorescent rays bounce off every nuance and subtlety such that nothing ever escapes the harsh stern analytical eye

it is only when one has seen through the bottom of the glass can one truly comprehend the complexity of our human nature.. the myriad of possiblities and combinations of outcomes that could alter the way we think.. it is always easy when everything is clear and nothing stands in the way of your better judgement.. it is only when personal emotions cloud our eyes that things start to get murky and grey.. no amount of rubbing would lift that fog out of our eyes as we struggle to comprehend what others find so easy to do..

would be then be right to say that to have navigated through that maze.. one is more qualified to make a judgement.. or would it be wiser to say because i had the opportunity to see the big picture before it got blurred i am now equipped to handle it now that im thrown into the sharks' pool?
