nobody knows

'Nobody Knows' is literally a film not many people know about.. which is a shame because it is a tale of heartwarming tenderness and wretched unfairness.. about the journey of 4 kids whom after being abandoned by their mother.. are left to fend for themselves.. the viewer is taken across the spectrum of mundane activites which perpetuate the children's lives but it is far from boring.. sibling love shines through the simplest of gestures and the movie is all about understated beauty.. if you haven't already heard.. one of the best movies of 2004 which everyone should catch

while i do acknowledge that my music recommendations may be a bit hit and miss now and then due to my fluctuating tastes in music.. 'a girl called eddy' should appeal to all of you.. i was scrolling through my massive mp3 collection and came across a band which i had downloaded not too long ago only to have ignored its presence.. my mistake.. upon further investigation it revealed a gem.. 'the mendoza line'.. yet another allmusic album pick and a nice introduction to indie pop/rock i feel..

and have you guys heard of Thomas Dybdahl? he is such a wonderful musician that i'm dedicating a whole paragraph just to recommend him.. he is one of THE best singer/songwriter to come out of norway.. if you don't believe me.. go check him out on any music review site.. i'm sure they only have the best to say of him.. so dont hesitate any further.. if you need something new in your musical diet.. try Thomas Dybdahl before you try anything else..

trust come a long way in the scheme of things and while i rarely trust my intuition its only in recent times have i learnt that it can be a powerful tool.. my whole reality is based on it yet it never occured to me to utilise it..

jealousy and incredulousness should have never taken over.. i have lost the battle of wits and the war of logic to sleep but nevertheless.. my fears were unfounded and my sleep is peaceful once again.. mistrust almost prevailed but i should have known better than to judge the integrity of someone's heart.. for that i deserve a thousand spankings in hell!

anyway enough of that grating folk song i previously used for my background music.. it sucks! i don't know what i was thinking.. here's a much better song from the mendoza line.. a much better sample track
